Preschool/Kinder-Prep/Extended Learning
3-year-old Preschool (T/Th)
(Children age 3 by September 1st)
AM Session 9:00 – 12:00 p.m.
Extended Day Available 12:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
10 students to 1 teacher
- Introduces the “school” experience
- Curriculum provides foundational academics, social-skills development and promotes independence
- Moves children from parallel to interactive play
Children MUST toilet independently
4-year-old Kinder-Prep (M/W/F)
(Children age 4 by September 1st)
AM Session 9:00 – 12:00 p.m.
Extended Day Available 12:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
10 students to 1 teacher
- Prepares students for Kindergarten in a caring, creative environment
- Curriculum aligned with the Kansas Early Learning Standards
- Develops increased independence, personal responsibility and self-regulation
Children MUST toilet independently
5-year-old Kinder-Prep (M/W/F)
(Children age 5 by September 1st)
9:00 am – 2:30 pm
8 students to one teacher
- Structured like a traditional Kindergarten classroom
- Focus on building confidence in academic skills, social interactions and independence
- Class-size allows for individual attention as needed
Children turning 5 after September 1st will be considered based on availability.
Special Events
In-House Field Trips
We have visitors like Mad Science, Jo Ho, Jim Cosgrove, Ernie Miller Nature Center, Coach Dana, Janie Next Door, and Happy Bear! These special events provide kids with fun and educational experiences!

Yearly Events
Our yearly events, such as Breakfast with Santa, our Halloween parade, and our programs that take place at Christmas and at the end of the school year allow kids and families to come together and have fun! On top of these events, we also have the Scholastic Book Fair and fall and spring picture days! Additionally, for preschool and kinder-prep, we also hold yearly parent-teacher conferences.
Parent’s Day Out
This program is designed for children 16 month through 5 years. It provides opportunity for physical, social and emotional development.
Parent's Day Out 1
(Children age 16-29 months by September 1st)
10 students to 2 teachers
This program helps children develop social skills and the ability to separate from parents in a loving environment. Children will nap in the afternoon. It is available Monday through Friday and children may enroll in 1, 2, or 3 days based on availability. Children must be walking and no longer requiring bottles.
Parent's Day Out 2/ Preschool-Prep
(Children age 30-35 months by September 1st)
14 students to 2 teachers
This program focuses on skills that prepare children to enter a preschool classroom and fosters a love of learning and independence. Children will nap in the afternoon. It is available Monday through Friday and children may enroll in 1, 2 or 3 days based on availability. A limited number of ½ day spots are available.
Parent's Day Out 3
(Children age 3-5 years by September 1st)
7 students to 1 teacher
This mixed-age classroom offers a purposeful play curriculum, focusing on the development of social skill and an emphasis on creative arts. It is available Monday through Friday and is used in conjunction with Kinder-Prep and Preschool. Children MUST toilet independently.
