Prairie seeks to be a community of faith that respects a difference of belief and understanding true to Baptist distinctives and the practice of the priesthood of every believer. This means, we do not require unity of belief, but do covenant with one another to grow in the love of God, neighbor, and self as we strive to be a healthy community of belonging and faith.
Prairie strives to develop, equip, and empower the gifts, discipleship, and ministry of all age groups. We value intergenerational ministry as well as age specific opportunities.
Prairie has a long history and commitment serving and supporting our denomination and missions and ministries. We are also committed to serving local ministries in a variety of ways and means. We are growing in our understanding of what it means to be a missional congregation more involved in the immediate neighborhood.
