Programs

Students in PDO 1 & 2 learn through play and active hands-on learning.  Experiences are standards-based (KELS), child-focused and formulated on knowledge of child development and individual learning needs.

PDO 3 provides an additional day(s) of care for students enrolled in PECC’s Kinder-Prep/Preschool classes.  With a play-based focus, PDO 3 gives students an opportunity to develop their creative side, enhance their fine-motor skills and gain confidence in social interactions.

Kinder-Prep Curriculum is based on the Kansas Early Learning Standards (KELS), creating experiences for students to acquire skills, knowledge and abilities in all developmental areas.  It promoted school-readiness and a foundation for future achievement and academic success.

Kinder-Prep 5 and Older 4s is a full-day transitional classroom providing older students an opportunity to further their social-emotional development and academic skills.  It builds confidence, knowledge and abilities in all academic areas and provides a foundation for future achievement and academic success.
